Laboratory Introduction

Wind Tunnel Laboratory: Direct current suction wind tunnel design, experimental section size 0.25m×0.25m×0.7m, design wind speed range 4~50m/s, turbulence degree ≤ 0.7%, applied to building load and flow field characteristics research, wind turbine aerodynamic characteristics research, atmospheric boundary layer characteristics research.

Water Cave Laboratory: Vertical power cycle design, experimental section size 1.2m×0.3m×0.3m, design flow rate range 0.1m/s~5m/s, with frequency conversion speed control function, used in hydrodynamics visualization experiments, the study of low Reynolds number of water cavitation, water elasticity, turbulence, wake, fluid mechanics and other water hydrodynamic phenomena.

Optical Image Measurement Laboratory: Provide comprehensive, visualized, system-level solutions based on high-speed photographic technology, digital image-related technology, and provide instruments and equipment such as 20kN pedestal and 5kN benchtop universal testing machines, video extensometers, high-speed video cameras, displacement detection platforms, laser interferometers and other instruments and equipment, to visualize and study stress-strain of various types of materials such as metals, composites, elastic-plasticity, etc., under dynamic, static, and thermal loads. Behavior of metal, composite, elastic-plastic materials under dynamic, static and thermal loads, tensile volume, modulus of elasticity, Poisson's ratio, and crack extension characteristics.
